SOUND HEALING
CONTRAINDICATIONS - SOUND HEALING IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
Pregnancy:
Sound healing instruments must not be placed on the body during pregnancy— 
especially within the first 12 weeks. 
Epilepsy: 
Individuals with epilepsy should not receive individual sound healing sessions. Please consult with your doctor to confirm you are on the correct medication and not at risk of seizures from sound vibrations. 
Pacemakers & Implants:
I do not use the contact method or place singing bowls near the chest or back of clients 
with: Implanted heart pacemakers, Stents, or Shunts. 
Inflammations, Tumors, Open Wounds & Veins:,  acute inflammations or tumors,  thick vein thrombosis (especially in the legs), 
On open wounds, 
Around inflamed joints or veins. 
Carotid Atherosclerosis
Participation is not recommended without prior medical clearance if you: 


Are in the first or last trimester of pregnancy, 
have a pacemaker, stent, shunt, or other implanted medical device, 
have been diagnosed with epilepsy or seizure disorders,
have undergone major surgery in the past 6 months ,have open wounds, deep vein thrombosis, or severe inflammatory conditions, have a diagnosis of carotid atherosclerosis,
suffer from severe anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health conditions (especially when 
medicated),have Raynaud’s Disease or Buerger’s Disease, have auditory sensitivity, tinnitus, or experience discomfort with loud/low-frequency sounds, are using a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) device, have advanced stage (Stage 4) cancer
